Author/speaker and former Sheriff Richard Mack has served in a wide variety of roles over the course of his nearly twenty year career in law enforcement, which began in Provo, Utah.
Mack began his career with the Provo Police Department as a parking enforcement cadet while attending BYU. A couple of years later he became a full-time officer and was soon promoted to Corporal, Sergeant, and Detective. After nearly 11 years at Provo PD, Mack decided to return to his childhood turf in Arizona and run for Graham County Sheriff. His campaign took off and he was elected in 1988.
He was sheriff for two terms until 1997. He was named Elected Official of the Year by the Arizona-NewMexico Coalition of Counties in 1994, received the NRA Law Officer of the Year, inducted into the NRA Hall of Fame, 1995 Cicero Award, Samuel Adams Leadership Award from the Local Sovereignty Coalition, and Gun Owners of America Defender of the Second Amendment Award.
During his tenure, federal officers informed the sheriffs of the state that they would be required to enforce the so-called “Brady Bill” and run background checks at their expense under the law. In 1994, Mack and six other sheriffs from across the country, challenged the constitutionality of the Brady Bill and ultimately, fought it all the way to the United States Supreme Court, where they won a monumental decision for freedom in a landmark 5-4 split decision based on the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Mack has been a consultant on numerous cases regarding police abuse, brutality, and other misconduct by public officials. He has joined with other members of the law enforcement community to speak out in favor of drug policy reform.
The Bakers hope to see you on the farm Sunday, July 20 for a fun and educational time!

An aspiring singer and songwriter, Deanna Miller, would like to share with you, the readers at FoodFreedomUSA.org, a rap song she wrote to educate people on the difference between Big Ag's factory-farm pigs and the pigs raised on pasture in family farms. This easy listening rap song informs the listener of what the DNR was doing in Michigan to an American farmer, Mark Baker, of Bakers Green Acres in Michigan. The author hopes this song motivates you to donate to Baker's Green Acres cause.
Enjoy. You can also visit Deanna's site at:
Farmers and Ranchers flee their homes.
Use the above pledgie button and vote for freedom, and use your dollars to support a real American tried and true farmer, Mark Baker, in his battle with the tyrannical powers of the Michigan DNR. Facing a fine of nearly three quarters of a million dollars, Mark Baker refused to lie down and allow his pigs to be shot and our Constitution to be violated. His stoic defense of our Constitutional Rights, private property rights, and individual rights, is remarkable.
As anyone can see the war on for our food is only escalating. Most farmers in the Texas border towns are fleeing and leaving their farms and ranches, just to save their families lives from threats of death and transference communicable diseases that the current invasion of illegal aliens has brought to their towns. A lot of our food sources are being lost to these invaders whom are being turned loose on our streets by a totalitarian dictator in the district of criminals.
If you think throwing flowers and rainbows at the aggressors is the answer then you might as well throw your money to the wind. You need to support the historic American men of our day like Mark Baker, Cliven Bundy, and Vernon Hershberger, just to name a few. In numerous states there are many farmers and ranchers engaged in battles with an out of control, power crazed, behemoth, government. So Mark Baker is just one of a brave many.
Most of our founding fathers were farmers and ranchers. Just like Thomas jefferson and George Washington, Mark Baker has drawn a line in the sand and is currently doing more for your Constitutional Rights than any politician in Washington D.C.. Mark Baker is even throwing his hat into the ring for the Office of Sheriff in Missaukee County Michigan. Show him your support and donate to his pledgie campaign today, tomorrow may be too late.

The time has come for all American's to stand for their individual Constitutional Rights, and leave no farmer behind. It is going to take many people getting active today, making phone calls to the politicians, and by using their social media outlets to awaken and alert their friends to the war on for their food.
Mark Baker, of Bakers Green Acres is one farmer who has taken the bull by the horns, so to say. Baker has been stoic in his stand against the Michigan DNR's attempt at shutting down his family farm. A proud husband, father, and Veteran, Baker is taking a stand for your individual Constitutional Rights. He has gone so far as to throw his hat in the ring for Sheriff of Missaukee County Michigan. Would you? America needs you.
I urge you to support Baker in his fight against the tyrannical food 'authorities' of this nation and all the tramplers of our beloved US Constitution. Granted we all realize that the fight is bigger than just food, but if we fail to stop these tyrannical beasts at the farm gate, they will soon control all the food and all the people.
Without access to real foods we will become subject only to government approved food sources in the very near future. Are you comfortable with only having processed, irradiated, and pasteurized foods on your table? Are you willing to only consume the GMO foods Monsanto chooses for you to eat? Eat GMO's and die, or eat free and live. The choice is yours.
Most recently when the BLM had placed 11 sniper teams surrounding the Bundy Ranch in Nevada. Americans responded Constitutionally with Militia units from across the country to prevent a government planned disaster of an American rancher, Cliven Bundy. If the proper and lawful use of the Second Amendment ushers in a new era of peace for our farmers then so be it. If you were offended by the Militia and their response to government tyranny then you are part of the problem and not part of the solution.
If you think that the only answer to the problem is to act as a 'community' and band together for 'community rights' you have already been sucked into the rabbit hole of the false left right paradigm. Pull yourself up out of that rabbit hole and get yourself a copy of the US Constitution. Read it. Then, take an oath to uphold and defend that Constitution, and start sharing your new found knowledge with your friends. Invite them over a home cooked, farm fresh meal, and let them taste the sweet flavors of real food freedom.

A Delegation of state legislators, lead by Washington State Representative Matt Shea, along with a delegation of current serving Sheriffs, lead by Sheriff Richard Mack of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, and military and police members of Oath Keepers, are converging on the site of a stand-off between federal law enforcement and Nevada Rancher Cliven Bundy, to prevent bloodshed and to stand in defense of hardworking rural Americans who are under assault by a runaway federal government.
LAS VEGAS, NV, April 10, 2014
The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA.org), led by retired Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack, and the Oath Keepers organization (oathkeepers.org) are assisting Washington State Representative Matt Shea in organizing a delegation of current serving Western state legislators and Sheriffs to travel to the site of a tense stand-off between Bunkerville, Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The delegation is traveling to Nevada to support a coalition of current serving Nevada legislators being organized by Nevada State Assemblywoman Michele Fiore, of Las Vegas, to stand vigil at the Bundy ranch to prevent Federal Government provocation of violence resulting in another Ruby Ridge or Waco type incident. They also hope that their example of oath-sworn public servants defending the rights of the people will prompt Clark County, Nevada Sheriff Douglas Gillespie and Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval to honor their oaths of office by taking real action to defend the rights of the Bundy family, the rights of all Nevadans, and the sovereignty of the State of Nevada.
Yesterday, April 9, 2014, Nevada State Assemblywoman Michele Fiore served the first watch in this vigil shortly after Cliven Bundy’s son, Ammon Bundy, was tazered by BLM “Rangers” during a heated confrontation. The video of that confrontation can be seen here:
Rancher Cliven Bundy needs your help!!!
For 20 years a tough as leather Nevada rancher and the federal government have been locked in a bitter range war over cattle grazing rights! Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy has been locked out from his cattle by BLM and his son was beaten by the roadside by federal thugs. This father of fourteen and grandfather of forty-eight is ready to lay down his life for your Constitutional Rights. The war on for your food has escalated to a height that is truly scary folks. We can try to be peaceful non-conformists, but this potential murder of an American Farmer should put everyone on high alert. If we all pull together with prayers, and support by raising awareness to this highly volatile situation, God willing we can get this nation back and keep our patriotic farmers on the land and not six feet under or in a cell.
Never in this battle for food rights has any single issue raised such concerns. It is time we all pull together or we will all hang separately.

SHTF Plan – by Mac Slavo, Dec 5, 2011
It’s not just the hundreds of thousands of members in the alternative media community that are pointing out the dangers to liberty posed by government’s anti-terror legislation. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), like his father Dr. Ron Paul (R-TX), puts the platitudes and pointless bickering aside to tackle the real issues – the underlying fundamental issues that threaten our very way of life.
In this speech calling for the removal of the detainee provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act, Senator Paul highlights, in surprising detail, activities that are now considered by Homeland security and law enforcement to be suspicious and potentially terroristic in nature:
Sourced via StanDeyo.com; Video Excerpt Below
Know good and well that some day there could be a government in power that is shipping its citizens off for disagreements. There are laws on the books now that characterize who might be a terrorist.
Someone missing fingers on their hands is a suspect according to the Department of Justice. Someone who has guns, someone who has ammunition that is weatherproofed, someone who has more than seven days of food in their house can be considered a potential terrorist.
If you are suspected by these activities do you want the government to have the ability to send you to Guantanamo Bay for indefinite detention?
A suspect, we’re not talking about someone who has been tried or found guilty. We’re talking about someone suspected of activities.
…Are you willing to sacrifice your freedom for liberty. I would argue that we should strike these detainee provisions from this bill, because we are giving up our liberty. We are giving up our Constitutional right to have due process before we’re sent to a prison.
The bill about which Mr. Paul speaks, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 (S 1867), passed the Senate floor on December 1 and is headed to the desk of the President. The Obama administration has thus far said it will veto the legislation.
It’s obvious to anyone paying attention that the war on terror is being used as the premise to further restrict the individual liberties of American citizens. On Saturday, just days after passage of S1867, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said that the threat is no longer just overseas – it’s shifted to domestic “lone wolf” attackers.
U.S. Homeland Security Director Janet Napolitano said Friday that the risk of “lone wolf” attackers, with no ties to known extremist networks or grand conspiracies, is on the rise as the global terrorist threat has shifted.
“There’s been a lot of evolution over the past three years,” she said. “The thing that’s most noticeable to me is the growth of the lone wolf,” the single attacker who lives in the United States or elsewhere who is not part of a larger global conspiracy or network, she said.
She named no examples, but it’s a phenomenon that is increasingly the focus of international anti-terror operations.

In August we reported that the FBI had advised military surplus and other supply stores that individuals purchasing certain types of items should be reported to local law enforcement or federal fusion centers. On the list of suspicious activities you’ll find the general buying habits of most any preparedness or privacy minded person:
What should I consider suspicious?
People or groups who:
Americans’ liberty and individual protections afforded by the Constitution are being systemically stripped by all levels of government. Few in Congress, the media and even the populace recognize it for what it is.

What is taking out millions of family farms and is there something that farmers can do to reverse the trend?
Food Freedom Discussion on Down the Rabbit Hole with Popeye; Guest: Pete Kennedy of the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund
On this edition of DTRH spends the first hour talking with Peter Kennedy, President and founding Board Member of the Farm-To-Consumer Legal Defense Fund. They discuss the legal case of Farmer Mark Baker, a farmer who was suing the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) over the legality of its swine Invasive Species Order. The two of them also get into raw milk and food raids; How everyone is affected by food freedom, and the Farm-To-Consumer Legal Defense Fund itself.
Mark Baker, who took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution has been forced to watch it be violated and trampled by the Michigan Attorney General, Bill Schuette, and Junior (Harold Martin assistant A.G.).
Your food source maybe next on the list for big brother government intrusion, and if that day comes to your farm will you stand as this Patriot farmer, or will you bow down and submit to being their slave?
The Baker's will need your help to continue farming, please help them in any way that you can. I urge you to go to http://bakersgreenacres.com/ and help them keep the family farm.
"The Bill of Rights is to protect citizenry from government."
"We need to put Constitutional people in place, it's worked for a lot of years in our country, it will continue to work."
Mark Baker of Baker's Green Acres has always refused the offer to back down when it came to the state of Michigan and the DNR ordering fines of $700,000 and the destruction of his heritage pigs - because they looked different. For nearly three years, the Bakers have been hanging on by a thread while pushed by aggressive tactics from three agencies - Michigan, the DNR and the USDA - which had embargoed and closed in on them, even threatening them with a raid and bullying their friends and buyers. While Michigan finally retreated, it doesn't change the situation for anyone else or arbitrary attacks in the future.
This compelling video recaps what happened, provides an update and encouragement for what we can do help farmers facing the same situation. Mark isn't just fighting for himself. See more below.
From Randy Buchler, publicist for Baker's Green Acres:
As a publicist for Baker's Green Acres, I am asking for your help. Their domestic family farm operation has been all but destroyed over the last 2+ years due to government harassment, threats and an unconstitutional Invasive Species Order and Declaratory Ruling from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
However, on February 26th, 2014, the DNR and Attorney General's office conceded that Baker's pigs are no longer illegal. Their reversal on their stance with Baker's pigs was a move to avoid going to trial where they would have been forced to explain their selective enforcement under oath. It also resulted in a ruling that there would be no damages awarded to Mark and his family. But, that doesn't mean it's over. Now is the time to hold our leaders of the State of Michigan responsible for their actions. From the DNR to the Attorney General's office to the Governor's office, we have been let down time and time again. The elected officials and bureaucrats that are not representing the Constitution of the people must be replaced. The agenda's they are serving are that of Corporate and self interests, not that of the people. We the People have the power to change that, as this is an election year. But, we must act now! Please watch this powerful video put together by Baker's Green Acres to understand where this issue stands today. If you prepay $25 now, you will receive a DVD of Hogwash The American Pig Tale before this year's elections. Just click on the "Buy Now" button at http://bakersgreenacres.com/. Your help is necessary to finish the documentary and to continue our work toward preserving our constitutional rights in Michigan. Thank you in advance for helping protect the people!
Michigan Assistant Attorney General Gets Cocky with the General Public and Sits on His Hind End During the Pledge of Allegiance

The Assistant A.G, Martin tells the audience that the court was adjourned last week by the judge because 'he (the judge) was concerned for my (AAG Martin's) safety".
Bagaduce Farm Facebook comment:
"Boy, they just don't make arrogant butt-brains quite like they used to.
Dirty Harry: your inappropriate verbal attack on a most polite Mark Baker reveals exactly how intimidated you and the rest of your career bureaucrap buddies are. You simply can't take the pressure of dealing face-to-face with The People can you.
Get used to it Harry. We The People are standing up to you and making our voices heard, louder and louder - at courthouses, at rallys, on the phone, in letters and emails, in internet posts and especially in choice video clips like this one. What a performance.
Yes, we see you Harry, and across the country we ALL see you - the Biggest Looser on a loosing team."
Missaukee County's Chief Circuit Court judge, William M. Fagerman, dismissed lawsuits Wednesday between the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and a farmer who challenged the department's invasive species order that barred his practice of cross breeding Russian boars, forbidden under the order, with heritage Mangalitsa pigs.
The judge let me down today, big time,"
"Ed Golder is happy because he doesn't have to explain that he is defending the illegal actions by his government," Baker said in a telephone interview Wednesday night with MLive.
Baker said his lawsuit, had it proceeded to trial, would have forced the DNR to explain details of the invasive species order that are contradictory and vague.
"I am back in business," Baker said. "The sad part is I am OK but the rest of you are not."
Harry gets excited.
There was a 10 minute delay in the proceedings of Mark Baker's trial yesterday, and one older gentleman from the courtroom which was packed with Patriots, suggested they all stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Everyone in the courtroom stood and recited the Pledge, except for one individual, Michigan's Assistant Attorney General Harold J. Martin, he was the ONLY person that did not stand and recite the Pledge of Allegience. The assistant A.G. Martin actually snarled at an older gentleman in the courtroom who respectfully asked why he did not stand for the pledge. Martin snarled "are you questioning my patriotism?" and the elder man replied "yes I am". Then the A.A.G. Martin turns to the crowded courtroom and says "you guys got a problem with me?"
It gets more intense as the Patriots question the assistant A.G. some more, watch the video as Mark Baker describes the scene as it unfolds.
Here is the contact info if you want to voice your concerns over this Assistant A.G.'s public display of a child-like temper tantrum.

"If we win this war a lot of things will change." from the movie 'The Patriot'
We would not even have the chance to be fighting for farmers, consumers, and food freedom if the pacifist non-aggression policy had held front and center stage during the Revolutionary War for Independence from England.
There is a war on for your food, but what will you do? Defend the family farm? Would you allow your homestead to be overrun and destroyed by a totalitarian regime? Do you realize that we would not have ever won independence from England if America was a land of only peaceful farmers? Why the push in this day in age for farmers to be pacifists, Quaker like, and resist verbally, but not to defend their property from these modern day domestic terrorists of the alphabet soup agencies of a dictatorial government? Why is it that pacifists detest and dislike patriots?
George Orwell said it best:
“Pacifism is objectively pro-fascist. This is elementary common sense. If you hamper the war effort of one side, you automatically help out that of the other. Nor is there any real way of remaining outside such a war as the present one. In practice, 'he that is not with me is against me'.”
Watch 'The Patriot' and hopefully you will understand what America's original farmers had to go through to gain our independence and create this great Republic.
The Quaker settlers who founded Pennsylvania were pacifists, bound by their faith not to engage in violence or take up arms. These are the same things we presently hear from many in the food freedom movement who are afraid of angering their global masters. Courage is lost and they do not even realize that they are being relegated to slave status. What would have become of this nation if our founders only practiced peaceful non-compliance? What if our founding farmers refused to take up arms?
Be like a little lamb if you want, wolves find them to be an easy and most delicious meal. Are you going to let your farm go to the wolves? What would Thomas Jefferson have done if he was in peaceful Pennsylvania farmer, Dan Allgyer's shoes? Would Jefferson have just hung up a 'Going Out of Business' sign? I don't think so. Our founders pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to ordain and establish our Republic and the Constitution. Are there any great men left that would be as bold and brave as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson in todays totalitarian police state?
The American Revolution forced the Society of Friends to do some serious soul-searching. Once a year all the Pennsylvania Quakers gathered at the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting to conduct business and address questions of faith.
In 1776, the meeting, operating by Quaker consensus, (sound familiar?) expelled Quaker men who chose to fight in the war for independence. Outraged by their neutrality, and suspicious that many Quakers hid behind their pacifism to make money and disguise their loyalty to the Crown, the Pennsylvania assembly instituted a loyalty oath that prevented Quakers and other pacifists from voting (in 1779). As the war dragged on, patriots became increasingly suspicious and angry at their Quaker neighbors. How many foodie activists today are hiding behind their pacifism, and the non-aggression principle to make money and disguise their filial loyalty to the powers that be?
During the American Revolution, people had to decide which side to support. Colonists for independence from England were usually called revolutionaries or whigs. But some Americans thought that to break away from the British government would not be right; they usually were called loyalists or tories. (Whig and tory were the names of rival political parties in Britain, so they were familiar nicknames in the colonies.) Americans today call the revolutionaries patriots, a word meaning “those who love their country.” Because we cherish our country’s independence, we value the revolutionaries as heroes.
Because of your pacifism America is now a nation that is run by Monsanto. All the while your fellow man is being soft-killed by the GMO foods, you fear being to brave or bold in defense of your farm. Why do you fear standing up to the Fascist Agricultural Industrial Complex? Are you happy living in a Fascist, Socialist, Communist, nation? Thank your fellow pacifist if you do.
Today it is easy for use to see why people wanted independence for the American colonies. We can even imagine ourselves joining in the fight against British rule. It is not so easy to understand why people who had lived in America for all or most of their lives would be opposed to the Revolution. Sometimes colonists were forced to make a choice for one side or the other, and they made choices they later regretted. Some people changed their minds and switched sides during the war, sometimes more than once.
As the war for your food escalates and the jackboots continue their oppression of raw milk, heritage breed hogs, local food clubs, hemp, backyard chickens, front yard gardens, and medical marijuana; all these things that were lawful and necessary in our infant Republic; will you be like the Quakers? Pacifists? Or will you be the brave and heroic farmers George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were?
If you are looking for peaceful warm and fuzzy rainbows and unicorns you won't find them here. This is America land of the free and home of the brave; not the utopian new order of conquered pacifists.
